Why these rules exist
Seat Circle has one goal: to create a safe, enjoyable table where strangers can chat comfortably. These rules exist to protect an environment where everyone feels good. By joining a table you agree to follow them.
Respect comes first
Be respectful to everyone at the table. Harassment, insults, discrimination, persistent bothering and hate speech are absolutely not tolerated. Respect everyone's boundaries; don't push a topic someone isn't interested in.
Be real
Join as yourself. Fake identities, misleading information or applying on someone else's behalf are not seated. Trust is the foundation of the whole table.
Safety and privacy
Tables are held in public venues. Look after your personal safety and don't share information you're not comfortable with. Don't share other people's private information at the table with others, on social media, or anywhere else without their consent.
Behave responsibly
Come to the table sober and on time. Excessive alcohol, substance use or behaviour that disturbs those around you spoils the table's atmosphere and may lead to your participation being ended. Commercial selling, persistent romantic pressure or turning the table into an advertising space are not accepted.
If something goes wrong
If you encounter an uncomfortable situation at the table, you are not alone. You can let us know by texting "DESTEK İSTİYORUM" on WhatsApp or by filling in the complaint form on the website. We keep your reports confidential and take them seriously.
Consequences of a breach
We assess behaviour that breaches the rules; depending on the situation we may issue a warning, remove a participant from the table, or permanently end their access to future tables. In serious cases we reserve the right to pursue legal remedies. Our aim is not to punish but to keep the table safe for everyone.
